Xingjian Chen

 Graduate student 

I am an M.Sc. student in Chemical Sciences and Instrumentation at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). I completed my B.Eng. in Food Science and Engineering at Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, China.

My current work in the Iddya Lab focuses on a phosphate-selective Layer-by-Layer project. I am interested in selective sensing, functional materials, and membrane-related applications, especially how material properties can be used to improve selectivity in water-based systems.

Outside of research, I enjoy football, jogging, gaming, and exploring new places.
