Arpita Iddya is an Assistant Professor in the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Biotechnology at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her research lies at the food-water-energy nexus, focusing on integrating experimental techniques and numerical modelling to develop advanced membrane technologies for sustainable separations and energy-efficient processes.
Prior to joining NTU, Arpita was a postdoctoral associate at Yale University and Rice University. She earned her master’s in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and her PhD in environmental engineering, with a minor in chemical engineering, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
