Dr. Arjun Singh Bisht

Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB), NTU, Singapore 

Hello, I am Arjun Singh Bisht, currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB), NTU, Singapore, under the supervision of Dr Arpita Iddya. My research focuses on developing sustainable wood-based ion-selective membranes for advanced separation applications.

I completed my master's in chemistry from Kumaon University, Nainital, India and earned my PhD from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, India. My doctoral research focused on the synthesis of functionalized polyproline and its hybrid copolymers, and understanding the role of their secondary structures on thermal phase transitions and bulk phase separation. Outside of the lab, I like playing cricket and badminton.
